nice fit at fair price My son likes these shorts, but he likes his shorts a little longer. I guess that is kids (teenagers/high school) these days since I actually like my shorts SHORTER in general. For me, the texture of the shorts is a little odd -- the Elastane makes them feel more "stretchy" than I really like, but that and the polyester does seem to make them faster drying than all cotton shorts. They have a modest inseam, stopping above the knee, which you would think would make most people happy -- but my son says he can't wear them to school unless they are below the knee (sounds like some rule from the 1950's to me!).Anyway, some other reviewers have mentioned that having the drawcord on the outside is a bit strange, and I agree with that. Some of the shorts and swimsuits I have give me the option to route the drawcord either way, and most of them are on the inside. The difference in color is what also makes that stand out: the lightness of the drawcord stands out and does not really "match" the color of the shorts. We have the khaki which is a bit lighter than I would call "khaki," but maybe that's just me. Still, kids seem to wear their shirts untucked most of the time these days, so it probably does not matter.**UPDATE** after writing the above, I took another look at the shorts and realized that they're constructed so that you can route the drawcord inside and have it remain useful. If you're wearing the shorts with a belt, the crd doesn't get in the way and you won't see the holes where the cord would normally come out of the front of the shorts. Win.I like the array of pockets, which seem very functional, although I like more pockets with closures (at least buttons and flaps on the back ones) and the fit is as expected, if a little large due to the "give" in the fabric. Because of the high synthetic composition, they do not shrink much when laundered. I think the synthetic materials also give them a bit of stain resistance (just a little because they are much more porous than all-polyester shorts and don't seem to have a DWR coating on them) and contribute to the wrinkle-free-ness. Fits perfect, they added a few sizes larger ,not bulky , does not trap air , 36 to 38 waist size 5 ft 9 , 200 lbs , they sent xx lg . At least one pair faded from the sun with only being exposed for a short time. These shorts from Dockers are a step up from typical cargo shorts. The flat fronts and non-baggy pockets give them a cleaner look and make them more appropriate for venues that require a little bit nicer of a dress code than a local chain restaurant. Fit is true to size and the shorts are comfortable to wear whether walking or sitting. They don't shrink when laundered and stay pretty wrinkle free if you pull them out of the dryer immediately when the cycle is done. The one thing they need to get rid of is the tie at the waist. It is utterly dorky looking if you tuck your shirt in or try to wear a belt over it. If you don't like to wear your shirt outside your pants, pull this tie completely out of the waistband and if you need to tighten the shorts, use a belt. Awesome shorts, probably should order a few more! Good quality , only worn a few times. Lets see if they can hold up for a year or two? bought several different colors good fit good price True to size and very comfortable. Fabric is a bit thin so I'll have to be careful washing it. No tienen doble tela, como comúnmente tienen este tipo de shorts, la tela es bastante delgada y el cordón de ajuste muy sencillo. They fit great Cheap.....look cheap also. But fit well and do the job. Great fitting cargo shorts, and great service. Would definately recommend to friends! Real nice comfy shorts I’d buy again the only thing I may change is the pockets
