great I like the material they are made out of. Very comfy. I wish they had back pockets. Ordered these with 3 other pairs of shorts. They fit as expected for the size (36). Material is a bit heavy and after washing and pressing the creases that came from folds in packaging have not come out after 2 washes Good quality! Very lightweight and comfortable I highly recommend and plan on ordering more. I ordered size XXL. I’m 6’5 and the shorts hit right at knee. I normally wear a L or maybe XL in shorts. Based on the company website, I ordered the XXL as I wanted these to be baggie. These Tommy Hilfiger Men's Casual Stretch Chino Shorts earn a 100% GET IT from me.I am a long time customer of Tommy Hilfiger clothing, and have had a wide range of different garments from hats, to chinos, to sweatshirts and swimming trunks, but I have never actually owned any of their shorts until now.Almost a year ago I cut out alcohol and took up working out 6 days a week. As a result, I have lost around 35lbs, and about 6 inches off my waist, and since we are just edging into the summer months, I officially had no shorts that that would be a good fit for the summer and when I saw these on Amazon I thought they would be a great option for wearing to events and days out during the summer when my traditional casual cargo shorts wouldn’t fly.I know these are marketed as casual but once I put them on and checked them out in the mirror I definitely felt like I was on the higher end of casual, but still a long way from formal. We live in Texas and currently have my mother in law in visiting from Europe and it was the first time wearing them out. Today was in the 80s, and since we were going for a short walk around the lake followed by coffee and a snack at an outdoor restaurant I was dressed perfectly for the occasion.In the past I just purchased and worn shorts because its hot and I feel more comfortable than I would in jeans during the summer months here in Texas, but with these Tommy shorts, I feel differently about myself when I am wearing them which is any designers dream that their customers would have an emotional connection with the product. In addition to feeling comfortable on a hot day, when you love how you feel wearing something the emotional component in the connection with the product carries more weight because it fosters loyalty with a brand more than another garment that simply does what it is supposed to do.PROS:Great feeling materialFantastic stitchingButtons are really strongly securedNice designMaterial allows for a little stretchMachine washBelt LoopsHigh quality zipper closure (I cannot stand button fly)Two off seam front pocketsTwo back button closure pocketsCONS:The only thing for me - and it’s small - and Im not sure how I didn’t see it in the product pictures since its right there, but if you look at the first product image, you will notice the slight outward flare at the end on the left and right side of each leg at the hem. It’s not the end of the world, it’s just a minor thing that I would prefer a straight line. Having said that, it doesn’t take away from my overall opinion about the shorts which is that I love them.SUMMARY:If you want a fantastic pair of shorts that are on the higher end of casual without feeling or looking formal, then these are a fantastic option to consider and I strongly doubt that either existing Tommy customers or those for who this is their first Tommy purchase will have any regrets in this purchase. In my family we are huge fans of the Tommy Hilfiger brand. We own many of their items. The Tommy Hilfiger Men's Big Tall Classic Fit Chino Shorts are very well made. They have good stitching and a good zipper. They are mostly cotton with a small amount of spandex to give them some stretch. It also keeps them from stretching out with all day wear. They are very comfortable. They look great. No complaints. I would totally buy extra pairs of these to just wear around! The pants have a a comfortable material with good stretch. The fit is just right (5'10", 145#, 30x30 pants). The only thing that brings this down to 4 stars are the pockets. It has 2 front pockets that sit kinda weird if you have anything in them (like your phone), one butt pocket (which is fine) and one side/knee cargo pocket (hits a weird spot on your leg-I wish there was another one on the other side and zippers would be helpful).Solid scrub pants, especially if you're like me and don't want to have yards of extra fabric draped around your body for twelve hours straight!
