I've owned numerous pairs of the pants of this same variety and have loved them all. I decided that I loved them enough that I would give the shorts a try, but I didn't ever try them on prior to making the purchase, I assumed they were just a cut-off version of the pants, and I was almost right. The fit is identical to the pants, but I do have two gripes with them. 1. I am taller than average 6'4" and have a 36" inseam and the legs on these shorts are a bit too short for my taste and because of the shorter legs the cargo pockets are not as deep as on the pants and therefore are not able to securely hold larger items that fit well in the pants cargo pockets. 2. Being taller and having spent some much needed time at the gym losing some excess inches off of my waist I have trimmed down from a 40 inch waist to a 36 inch waist, the problem with these shorts as well as with the pants is that the getting them with the smaller waist means they also come with narrower legs and since I happen to have larger than average thighs I lose quit a bit of the mobility.In closing, if you have an athletic build with muscular legs I would not recommend you buy these without trying them on first, unless you enjoy wearing clothing that fits like spandex without the flex. If you are an average sized person then these are probably the tactical shorts for you, but I still recommend that you try them on first. The fit was a little big and loose I'm a 34 but wear a 36 in swimwear . I ordered a 36 and it fit like I wanted it to. Bought these shorts to replace a decade old pair of cargo shorts that simply ran their course (rest ye well, friend, you earned it). I will say I really like these shorts. The pockets, the features, the color... All great. These are durable without being overly heavy, which is an upgrade from the old pair which felt so weighty you might expect them to deflect bullets. Also, the fabric looks like it will resist fading and stains which is a step up from the old pair as well.Lots of pockets in these, all fasten securely and allow for easy access. The shorts themselves move freely, and fit true to size. In addition, I find that these are wearable in social settings without looking like I am a little kid playing army.My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that unlike the old cotton shorts this material doesn't seem to break in and retains some stiffness regardless of wear/wash/fabric softener. If that's the price of durability I will pay, but these will never become the go-to for something comfortable to wear around the house. Awesome! Great fit right size Wife could see all my junk!! I mean all!!! Don't by white!! If you have a butt, buy 2 sizes larger. I was so pleasantly surprised with these shorts. I’m a size 30 and they fit exactly as I hoped for them to fit. Very great quality shorts for a great price. Definitely will buy again. Great color, great fit! I am always skeptical ordering clothes from amazon but this poncho exceeded my expectations! I’m a bigger girl and It fits just right and is very flattering on! I loved it so much I ordered it in another color and will be ordering a few more. Great price and great quality!!! I received so many compliments on the poncho at work. All the ladies loved the style
