Ordered a 4xl because I'm tall and a little bit fat not to big but this is made for tall people not round wise Exactly what I ordered These shorts are very good quality for the price, they fit well and don't get in the way of any movement. I wear a 34 to a 36 and the large size fit me perfectly. EDIT: I've been using these shorts for almost a year now, the velcro is failing and the shorts will no longer stay fastened. They have seen about 15 uses per month for almost a year. The rest of the shorts still look new and have held up very well. Currently trying to decide if I want to repair the velcro or just get a new pair. These just arrived and I haven't worn them yet. But my first impression is that they are cheaply made, with very thin material.I wasn't expecting much for the price, but compared to the UN92 flex fighter shorts, which are only $8 more, these seem like a much worse deal.I'll see how they last, but I'm guessing I'll wind up wishing I had forked over the extra $8 for much higher quality shorts.Update: After a couple uses, my opinion is about the same. The sizing is not ideal. I wear 32" by 34" pants, and the medium shorts are a tad too big around the waist(pulling the drawstring to a comfortable fit causes the waistband to bunch up), and a little too short in the legs (they come down to a couple inches above my knee). I rather like these but the sizing / structure is a bit off. I'm about 5'10.5" and my waist is (actual) 34.25 inches (so size 30-32 jeans). I have a very athletic build. The small fit nicely everywhere but the waist, which rides too high. Then I tried the medium and the waist is ok / a little loose but the rest of the shorts are way too baggy. I had to return both pairs.If you happen to have the right body type for these they'd be great and well priced but if you have dimensions similar to me they just don't work. Better off looking at sized shorts rather than generic s,m,l,xl sizings. Might be fine for some, just too long for me. Not their fault. Sent them back and got 8” inseam instead. I loved them. Great quality. I'll buy more. Firstly I'd just like to say, don't let this review deter you from buying these shorts. They're decent but just didn't work for me. I expected the single pocket these shorts have to be a little bigger for everyday use (the pocket can hardly fit my keys). I have mixed feelings about the excessive velcrow in the front (design-wise I think its too much). But mostly I dislike the giant slits on the sides which makes the shorts skirt-like (expected them to be smaller). Great for martial arts training, but wouldn't wear them for everyday use. One of my best buys, clothing-wise, on the sight. What to remember is that the pockets have velcro on them and if you use dryer sheets, they will, not could, but will get stuck on the velcro. Nothing worth taking any stars off of. My son loved these shorts. Good quality and very good fit. Just the right length in the leg. Would reccomend. Enorme con la talla recomendada. 60. Excellent quality, excellent value. Good jeans at a great price. I suppose if you were willing to pay a LOT more, you could get a somewhat better jean. On the other hand, I am very happy with these and purchased a second pair. Really big fan of O'Neill stuff. These shorts are a little longer than the shorts at Costco which is what I wanted. Won't live for long.
