They are great shorts and cheaper than retail stores around me Bought these to take hiking in Belize for two weeks. Extremely light weight and quick drying the few times I had to cross waist deep rivers. Very nice looking and the length is perfect. Highly recommend! Wasn’t a big deal but the crotch ripped out in a matter of wearing them 4 or 5 times. A bit TMI here but this is why i bought them. I work on my feet moving around all day and I'm somewhat overweight so I was having some painful chafing on my inner upper thighs for a long time. I searched for anti chafing underwear and these came up. They work like a charm! The tight yet non constricting fit and ultra smooth fabric remove all friction allowing me to work all day without chafing. The one drawback is that there is no fly so i have to pull th down to pee, but im not in pain anymore so thats fine. The fit is good but the material is very light weight. Immediately began to fray in one spot and had lots of loose threads right away. I'm 6' 2" tall and have an athletic build. No gut and no bulky muscles. My normal jersey size is Large or X-Large.I bought this in a 3XL thinking I'd layer under it. However, even at 3XL it was way too tight. The worst part of the fit was the non-slip waistband. Though it's a great idea it is so tight that it puts a lot of stress on the zipper and I can't imagine that with movement that the stress on the zipper would not cause it to come apart. However, it is a well made jersey. I just don't think any male can wear his normal size unless he's built like a woman or like a 13 year old boy.Regarding what others have said about appropriate temperature I do not agree. I could wear this with a tank top under and be good to probably 32 degrees. I would definitely NOT wear this any temp above the high 30s. This is based on other jerseys made by the same company in the same material, plus a walk around the block wearing nothing but this jersey and heavy bib shorts (yes I looked ridiculous).I ordered a 4XL to replace this, not just for the sizing but this unit appeared to be used or previously returned as the tags were cut off.I'm confident that one long sleeve compression top under this will work down to 27 to 30 degrees. But keep in mind I'm not a casual rider - I train through the winter and we move at a pretty good pace.I gave it four stars for the build quality and took that one star off because of sizing and the too tight waist band. Shorts fit very well, they’re A bit long but I’m fine with that Die Hose ist bisher die beste Hose die ich bisher getragen habe für s Fahrradfahren. I have worn this jersey on about eight 2-3 hour rides in temps from 35 to the upper forties and always with 2 layers underneath. Unless you really like cold weather, this jersey won't work as a standalone in temps 50 or below. I haven't tried it yet in warmer temperatures. On each ride, I used a thin Craft base layer and either a Craft Gore Windstopper base layer or a light to medium weight wool layer over the top of that and underneath the jersey. I have stayed warm using this strategy, although riding in light rain at 35 degrees I was getting a little chilly. However, the jersey is surprisingly water resistant. On all my rides, I was wearing insulated bike shoes with wool socks, tights comparable in weight to the jersey, full finger gloves, and a Gore Windstopper hat. I found the jersey to be very soft and comfortable, just not that heavy. It appears to be quite well-made for the price and I have no complaints about quality. My only somewhat minor complaint is that the zipper pull could be larger, or at least include a hole to attach another pull. I found it a little awkward while using full-finger gloves, but nothing terrible. Overall, I have been very pleased, especially since I wasn't expecting anything too special for the price. The sizing is definitely for skinny eurocyclists. I usually wear a large or extra large in most cycling clothes marketed for US riders (I'm a stocky 5'10" 195 lbs with a little extra weight around the middle) but I went with a XXL and it was definitely still a little form fitting. You will want to add a size or two over your US size, especially if you want to layer clothes underneath. These look cool and its just nice to have long shorts that pass the knees. Alittle on the thin side but very comfortable. I have worn this jersey on about eight 2-3 hour rides in temps from 35 to the upper forties and always with 2 layers underneath. The shorts are SUPER comfortable and they have a faint vertical impression that makes perfect for many occasions. I like them because I can wear them several times without washing and they still look great!!! .... Nice but very long They look at feel fine, comfy even. My only minor complaint is I've washed them so many times and yet they still smell as if I haven't at all. It's the only clothes I have with this problem, not sure why. Could just be the material.
