Slimmer leg opening made it very functional for long and short rides. Can be worn for casual wear and for a serious 25+ mile bike ride. Wow, these shorts are very well made. I am a seamstress (just for fun kids clothes and Halloween projects for my kids these days) however I will say that from the quality of the fabric to the quality of the thread and the stitching all the way to the design and functionality of these shorts - they thought everything through and the follow-through is impressive!High Quality materials!Every stitch and seam is reinforced and honestly done properly - so these are made to take the wear and tear and the durability is exceptional!These are functional for everyday use from walking to riding and they are quick dry!Cost - Higher Price PointQuality - The best of everything UPDATE 7/22/2014: I had a belt loop tear out which is not repairable. Sadly, this pair of shorts is garbage. WOrn less than 2 months. So much for consumer-grade materials.This is my 3rd pair of this style of shorts from Rothco. As per my review on last pair (www.amazon.com/review/RXAVPE6Z346KJ/ref=cm_cr_pr_viewpnt#RXAVPE6Z346KJ) the same issues still persist. I'm a big dude (6'4, 309 lbs) and normally wear a 42 waist. I have ordered and returned enough pairs of these shorts now that I can say with confidence that the sizing discrepancy with these can be +/- 4 inches too big or too small for the exact same pair of shorts. Consistency is sizing is horrible.Zipper:The zipper is still garbage however this pair seems to have a slightly_ zipper. it is by no means anywhere near the quality of a YKK zipper and I also plan to replace this one as well.Material:Typical consumer grade, not milspec/surplus. Don't expect to run around in the woods with these. They will shred. If you want that, get the real deal milspec material.Belt loops:being 2 sizes smaller than my other pair of shorts from Rothco, these shorts also only have 5 belt loops. The really, really need 9 belt loops to keep the waistline from sagging and bunching oddly. With a smaller pair is not as bad but still annoying.Overall I am still happy with these despite the flaws which persist (sizing inconsistencies, zipper quality, belt loops). I wore my other pair daily last spring/summer/fall and they are still in fantastic shape. I've no doubt these will last. If you can look past the flaws, these are pretty decent and still the only real option for digital camo patters on shorts. Volcom prend ses clients pour ce que ses produits sont : de la m***e.J'ai acheté ce short en deux exemplaires et porté l'un d'entre eux 15 jours sans discontinuer (du 6 aout - au 20 août 2022) sauf la nuit, bien sûr.Et voila le résultat en photo: l'exemplaire utilisé, pas encore lavé, très élégant les premiers jours, ne ressemble plus à rien, les couleurs n'ont pas tenu et on croirait à un vêtement suranné.Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'ai un soucis avec les produits Volcom : j'ai un blouson type "bombers" d'un noir profond à 150 euros, magnifique quand il est neuf, sur lequel la pluie devait perler.Même problème, le blouson noir – très peu porté – est devenu grisâtre à la lumière. A l'époque, j'avais demandé un geste commercial à la boutique Volcom de Marseille préfecture et sa proposition ressemblait plutôt à une insulte.Il faut cesser d'acheter Volcom et boycotter la marque Awesome shorts! Very comfortable and durable. On the long side but for a big boy like me they are perfect. As always a great product. Well made, durable and comfortable. A repeat purchase for this and other Rothco products. 靴の買い替えで気になっていたランニングシューズに手を出しました。想像より数倍軽く、長時間履いても疲れません。まだ使い始めたばかりなので耐久性などは分かりませんがとりあえず今のところはいい感じです！人工股関節の手術をしたときに、履きやすくぬげにくく、安定感があり、お値段がリーズナブルということで、まずは病院内の上履きとして、先輩の患者さんに教えていただきました。歩いても疲れないし、痛くなることも全くないので大変気に入りました。退院後は、普通に外履きとして毎日履いています。私にとって、もっとも安心して履ける靴です。デザインも気に入っています。
