Comfy shorts, they fit nice for hanging around the house in. Similar to sweat pants but slightly thicket and more structure (you can go commando and not have people immediately know your religion)Terrible iron on design. Its funny and terrible. Good news, it comes right off in the first/second wash. Haven't wore it yet, stock for future use. Nice to have when you need it. These are only one layer of a pretty thin fabric you can see through. They will last a few months, thata about it. But hey...they do the job My husband did not like these at all. When I order these I did not know they were button fly and had the ties on the legs. I am sending these back. Fit great and looks good, very happy with the purchase There is a lot of competition in this area and it is difficult to find a product that satisfies the need. I ordered two and used them for a couple months hiking and in the gym. For me this product met the test. Durable, comfortable, good freedom of movement and product features (zip pockets, tie-string in front, elastic waist). Red pair was Well made. look great with UV long sleeve hoodie fishing shirts--the black and lavender pairs appeared to have some craftsmanship issues, but I kept them. Great shorts! These shorts changed my life! Forever before I'd worn cotton underwear, but while thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail I tried these out. They are perfect in every way for an outdoorsy person. I wore them every day for six months while hiking 20+ miles per day most days. Several years later, I still have the same pair I wore on that trip-- the elastic is just beginning to wear out, and the fabric and everything else about them is still great. I've also purchased about fifteen pairs of them since, and switched over entirely to them as underwear. They weigh nothing. They're super soft and don't chafe. They work as underwear and are more or less socially acceptable in most US locations as shorts. They dry very quickly, so they work great as swim trunks. They're easy to clean in a creek, a sink, or a hostel shower on outdoor adventure trips where washing machines are in short supply and every dollar counts. And they're incredibly durable, so they'll last at least a few years with regular use or at least a year with constant use. They need airflow, though. The only bad experience I've had with them is driving my car on warm days- they can get a little gross then because they can't wick moisture away when my bottom is pressed against the seat. Other than that I have zero problems with them.As far as decency goes, don't expect them to hide much of anything, but that's been mentioned plenty in other reviews.Buy these and live better! I absolutely love these shorts! Fit is perfect, and they hold up well in the gym. Very comfortable. I bought 5 pairs because that’s how much I love these shorts! These fit well and have nice little touches that put them slightly above cheap-o shorts -- rubberized ends on the drawstring, hemming around the pocket edges, quality zipper on the back pocket. However, I wouldn't buy them for anywhere near the ~$50 retail price. I bought the black striped ones for a little over $30, they're not worth any more than that IMO. Decent shorts though -- lightweight, good for hanging out and being casual. Well made
