These are the Type of Sirts to have in Florida , A breeze going through shirt is Great. I had a skin cancer spot on my back and bought these shirts to wear Will doing water activities in the Sun. I live on a Minnesota lake and enjoy riding wet jets. We are also taking a Disney Bahama cruise in March and I wanted to have shirts that would help prevent sun exposure. I haven’t worn them in the Sun or water yet, so I can’t speak on anything other than the price, which was excellent, and their intended purpose. I am 5'8, 180 with an athletic build - I hover between at 32/33 waist. These shorts are absolutely great! They are light weight, very comfortable and have a little stretch to them in all the fabric, so they move well. Length wise, they sit just above my knee, so not too long and not too short. I went with a side 33 waist and it is a perfect fit; these shorts would stay up with no belt, if I went that route. Lots of great colors to chose from - I've purchased 3 different pairs already. I like these alot... Great for play or for being casual and comfortable around the house. Im glad I read the reviews and ordered a size smaller then what i normally get. Worked out great! Im 6'2" 220lb's and ordered the Large. Great fit ! These shorts are incredibly soft, light weight, and comfortable. They could be used for lounging around the house or running errands. We bought the first pair at WRV in Kitty Hawk, NC for my 17 year old son 2 years ago. He accidently ripped them recently and I was able to find same exact shorts. They fit as expected, nice length. If he hadn't ripped them he would still be wearing them, so they hold up well. The inside tore by the waist side As advertised. No surprises. Have them in the String color (a kind of tan).Just ordered another pair of String and a pair of Navy color in size 40. I need about 41"The String fits just as before (about 40-3/4" so expands about 1/4"), but the Navy is way too small (about 39-1/4" -- a full 1-1/2" smaller than the String color). The Navy would fit me if my waist was 40" using about half of the stretch. But the stretch is fully used up on my 41" waist.I just ordered 42" Navy, hoping they also are about 3/4" smaller than the rated size.42" String color would be way too large for meGot the 42" Navy and they fit perfectly, exactly like the 40" String. Great quality and fits perfectly! It will be great to wear this summer. Decent quality, although I haven't washed them so I can't speak to color integrity. Good solid black color with minimal odor that goes away after a few mins, however. My only complaint is they're a bit on the small side. I typically wear a large, but I ordered XL because I wanted room to be extra comfy. These fit like a L (just a shade smaller actually, though not quite M). I'd shoot a size larger. Used for holiday in Dordogne, pockets secure. Decent quality, although I haven't washed them so I can't speak to color integrity. I bought these shorts from another seller a while back in Gray and liked them enough that I decided to get another pair but went with this seller because they had more colors to choose from. Even though they are from different companies, the shorts are exactly the same except for one key detail - bottom hemline of the shorts. Unlike my first pair, these shorts do not have a normal flipped over and finished hem like I'm used to, but a fancy-looking stitch where the fabric naturally ends.The problem was that became immediately clear within an hour of wearing these for the first time because the bottom hem likes to flip up and expose a small amount of the inside color. If you look close, you can see that happening in pictures that other reviewers have uploaded as well. I'm not a fan of it and wish they were hemmed like the first pair I bought. It's not the worst thing in the world, but I think that makes them look less finished/nice. Similar to a nylon short and ends up just above the knee.. perfect for summer hiking but not high end quality.. Right length
