comfortable and all around quality product. looking forward to doing my first Triathlon ! In 50+ years of life I had never hiked, and would never consider trails such as those on the mountains surrounding Lake Lucerne. What was I worried about? I had no idea what clothes to buy!A lot of searching on Amazon eventually led me to try these shorts. I bought three pairs. They were fantastic! Five days hiking the most difficult trails on Rigi and Pilatus, and a couple easier ones on Stanserhorn and Burgenstock, put these shorts to the test.Enough pockets to keep everything organized. Great stretch and very comfortable fabric. Dried out fast when we hiked in the rain. The heavy duty hooks carried my backup 100 ounces water, no problem at all.Now that I'm back home, I wear them as everyday shorts. Absolutely a great purchase! Materiel feels weird and not very comfortable Everybody is asking me where did I get the pants.The are extremely comfortable and I work in the heat of Bahamas.The pockets are the perfect size and location.The velcro stays in place and holds the flaps perfectly, usually they dont work anymore and things fall from pockets or the flaps bend up all the time. these stays in place forever.Zippers don't get stuck anywhere and you never feel them or hit them against anything: Sometimes if they are too bulky you end up hitting them against whatever you have inside the pockets or they bother you in tight places. this is not the case.The waist has elastics to expand a little so if you want to go shorter, you have room to stretch them.Fabric is really ripstopONLY SLIGHTLY CON: My first pants starts to get more lose, like the fabric is starting to give in and the color fading away BUT After many many washes without any kind of care, i mean hot or cold water, cheep soap, no softener, maximum heat in the dryers, etc etc.BOTTOM LINE: I WILL KEEP BUYING THEM!! I had to read the size chart carefully. I'm a big guy at size 40 waist so it was the 3X size that fit me. Most of the shorts I find online are shipped to the US from international locations and they tend to be very short in the crotch. I'm 6' and these were the perfect length to above the knee and all around a nice product. So many pockets....so much space in the pockets. I did try 2x from the size chart and although it fit... 3x fit perfect. The best part are the two little velcro waist straps that allow each fitting to be just write with or without a seperate belt. Great fit! The drawstring on the waist band was unexpected, but reminds you that the pool, ocean, or lake is always an option if you’re in a pinch and have forgotten to bring your swim suit. My husband wore these once and they already have scuff marks on the butt. I’m extremely disappointed. So don’t buy unless you are going to wear and not sit on anything. It appears like the dye is super thing and literally came off. Pools are never gentle to swim suits but he didn’t do anything to cause this much wear especially after ONE time. Fit well. Material is that of a swimsuit, but has belt loops and set to be worn as shorts. Not bad, but makes them a little less flexible in your wardrobe. Honestly, biggest issue is they arrived with a small hole near the crotch and they arrived a day late. So I sewed it bc I didnt want to wait long and probably wont use this seller with this brand again when there are other options to order this product
